Joint Technical Seminar on the Latest Updates to the Fresh Water Cooling Towers Scheme

Programme Highlight:
Fresh Water Cooling Towers (FWCT) are known for their higher energy efficiency and have been widely adopted in Hong Kong. The seminar will give an update on the development of the FWCT Scheme in face of the contemporary challenges with a streamlined application procedure in support of the industry. It will also cover the changes made in the new 2023 Edition of the Code of Practice for FWCT and the associated publications of the FWCT Scheme in terms of the updated standards and requirements in design, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and water treatment method.

CPD Certificate:
An electronic copy of CPD attendance certificate (1-hour) will be issued to the participants with over 80% attendance within one month after the seminar by email. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify and terminate those non-properly registered participants.
Registration & Enquiry:
The seminar is free of charge and prior registration is required. The number of participants is limited to 30 in-person attendees and 500 online participants. Application will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis and priority will be given to members of HKIE-BSD, ASHRAE-HKC and CIBSE-HKB. Successful members will be informed by a confirmation email on or before 23 September 2024.
