Programme Highlights:
In this technical visit, members would be guided to the MiMEP Factory for appreciating the MiMEP construction of chilled water and cooling water systems for District Cooling System (DCS) Plant in Kwu Tung Development Area. A total of 322 modules are involved in the project and each module was engineered to enhance on-site safety, minimize construction waste, optimize quality control, and improve overall project productivity. All pipe welding and test were conducted in a controlled factory environment. Additionally, over 80% of the pipe insulation and protective cladding were completed off-site, prior to module delivery and installation.
In addition to appreciating the MiMEP design construction, members would also be able to guide to experience the Factory Fabrication Procedure, Pre-construction preparation and the Application of Digital Platform for checking.
Casual Lunch will be arranged and included in this visit.

CPD attendance certificate (6-hour credit) will be distributed to the participants after the visit by email. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify and terminate those non-properly registered participants to attend the visit.
