To facilitate experience sharing and to promote development on building services engineering between the Mainland and Hong Kong SAR, The HKIE (BS Division), ASHRAE (HK Chapter), CIBSE (HK Region), and HK PolyU (Dept. of BEEE), have jointly organised symposiums in various Mainland cities over the years, including Harbin, Hefei, Changsha, Fuzhou, Tianjin, Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Qingdao, Shenyang, Wuhan, Chengdu, Taiyuan, and Kunming.
In 2026, the above professional bodies will jointly organise a two-day symposium with local professional organisations in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, China (陝西省西安市) on 29-30 June 2026. The theme of the symposium is “Smart Synergy for a Greener Future(绿色科技赋能・秦港协同创新)with details are as follows:

Notes:
1. Transportation: Shuttle bus between Hong Kong and Shenzhen Bao’an Airport; round-trip flights between Shenzhen and Xi’an.
2. Accommodation: 4‑ or 5‑star hotel (or equivalent) and above.
3. Insurance: Not included. The organising parties shall not be held liable for any incidents occurring during travel or the symposium. Participants are advised to arrange their own insurance coverage as deemed necessary.

Payment should be settled by crossed cheque, payable to “ASHRAE Hong Kong Chapter”, and sent to Ms Sze CHUNG, 10/F, The Eastmark, 21 Sheung Yuet Road, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Due to transport arrangements, the registration deadline is 17 April 2026. Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. CPD certification (12 CPD hours) will be issued to participants.
