Programme Highlight:
Building Information Modeling (BIM) has been widely adopted for building design and construction industry. However, some senior managers think BIM is only the drafting tool similar to traditional Computing Aided Design (CAD) software but in 3D presentation. Two BIM experts from different background are invited to share their real-life experience when implementing BIM in the project, this seminar would focus on: -
- Expectation Gap for the BIM Process in the industry
- Maximize the value of BIM in Project & Construction Management
- Difficulties facing when applying BIM in Private Development
Speakers:
Mr. Isaac Lee
Mr. Lee is a chartered construction professional, working as the BIM Manager and SMART Manager in Kerry Properties. He has over 10 years practical experience in strategic planning for BIM implementation, engaging in various types of projects including historical, infrastructural, commercial and residential property development.
Mr. Lee is also a guest lecturer of the taught master programmes in The University of Hong Kong and trainer in Hong Kong Institute of Construction, dedicating in education to incubate talents continuously to accelerate the development of digital transformation in the industry.
Mr. Simon Ng
Mr. NG is the Head of BIM in China State Construction Engineering Hong Kong Ltd who leads a team to support BIM implementation across projects including development of corporate BIM standard, workflow of various BIM application, training plan, and automation tools, etc
Being awarded as the "Young BIMer of the Year 2014" award by the CIC of Hong Kong, Mr. NG has extensive experience in BIM management such as modelling standard, execution plan, template, family database, skills development, training, etc.

CPD Certificate:
Only accepted registered participants with over 80% attendance will receive an electronic copy of CPD attendance certificate. Sharing of the register link to others are prohibited and the organizer reserves the right to disqualify and terminate those non-properly registered participants to attend the Seminar.

Those successful participants are requested to attend the Seminar by their own. Application will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
