Programme Highlights:
Plumbing engineers and professionals can make significant contribution to sustainable buildings when planning and designing the plumbing an d drainage systems. Sustainable plumbing design will specify the installation of eco friendly systems that minimise the environmental impacts and improve building performance with sustainable practices. This technical seminar will introduce the basic principles of sustainable plumbing design and explain the important considerations for practical application. The key aspects of sustainable plumbing design will be discussed including water efficiency, water reuse, wastewater management, hot water systems, renewable energy, energy efficiency, materials and installation practices.

Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering The University of Hong Kong
Ir Dr. Hui is a Chartered Building Services Engineer (CEng), a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP), and a High-performance Building Design engineering and has over 33 years of experience in the study of building energy efficiency and sustainable building technology.
