Technical Visit to Kai Tak Sports Park

Introduction
Kai Tak Sports Park is a multi-purposes sports venue featured with a 50,000 seats main stadium with a retractable roof and bowl cooling system for seating area, an Indoor Sports Centre with the flexibility to host community sports and events of up to 10,000 seats and a Public Sports Ground with 5,000 Seats. It supports the Government policy to promote sports in the community, to support elite sport, and to maintain Hong Kong as a centre for major international sport event. The Kai Tak Sports Park is located on the north western part of the former Kai Tak Airport with an area of around 28 Hectares. It is within ten minutes’ walk from both Kai Tak Station and Sung Wong Toi Station.
Apart from sport venues, there are park facilities and ample public space for events and leisure including 700,000 sq.ft. retail areas and a nearby 32,000 sq.ft. coastal dining areas making it the perfect spot to relax. Other facilities included Sports Avenue, Main Plaza, Event Village, South Plaza and Neighborhood Park.

- Retractable roof system of the Main Stadium
- MiMEP (Bowl cooling, AHU, WC units and etc.)
- Smart Initiatives (IOC center, People counting, VR for FM, smart manhole and etc.)

Requirements for all participants:
Since KTSP is a construction site, all successful participants should possess and bring the valid Safety Card (Green Card) or the equivalent document, such as an HKIE corporate membership card, and be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while visiting the site. Participants are responsible for bringing their own safety footwear, while we will provide safety helmets and safety vests. Sleeveless or tank top shirts, short pants, sweatpants, dresses, skirts, sneakers, sandals, high-heeled shoes, and open-toed shoes are not permitted for this visit.

CPD Certificate:
CPD attendance certificate will be distributed to the participants after the visit by email. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify and terminate those non-properly registered participants to attend the visit.
