Joint Technical Visit to Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Centre in Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital (PYNEH)

Programme Highlight:
The Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Centre commenced service with multiplace chambers at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital (PYNEH) since September 2018. In 2023, two monoplace hyperbaric chambers have also been introduced to the centre, complementing the existing multiplace chambers which expected to reduce the waiting times for elective patients by half and also the occupational hazard among clinical staff working in the centre. 

The visit will mainly focus on statutory requirement of chambers and design of medical gas supply system for multiplace chambers and monoplace hyperbaric chamber which are designed to have system redundancy to handle emergency situation.

CPD attendance certificate will be distributed to the participants after the visit by email. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify and terminate those non-properly registered participants to attend the visit.
