Programme Highlight:
To be in line with the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, pursuit for low GWP refrigerants has been on the rise. One school of thought is to invent new 0ODP, low GWP refrigerants, yet another school of thought is to revert to natural substances, negative impacts of such are all known.

In this seminar, the speakers will walk the audience through a quick glimpse into the development of low GWP synthetic refrigerants. They will then further look into carbon dioxide (R744 ), a natural, non-toxic, non-flammable refrigerant which is classified as A1 according to the ASHRAE Standard 34.
